Occasionally bears and wolves chase caribou and moose right in front of our lodge! Winter brings perfect weather for ski touring and snowmobiling, while the nights often produce amazing shows of the Aurora Borealis, also known as the northern lights- a sight to see in themselves.

Looking for photographic opportunities? Moose, caribou, wolves, eagles, falcons, and other animals can be seen right from our cabin porches or while relaxing in our screened gazebo. Bears frequently fish in the stream right in front of our guest cabins. Rarely can one see so much wildlife from a single location in any given day. We can also arrange floatplane fly-outs for you to view wildlife, should you be interested to see any particular animal.
